Mac mineralize skinfinish deep dark contour

NARS official website. Love the NARS font — so classy. Decent size mirror. Larger area for contour shade rose and lesser for the highlight shade ivory. A duo of contouring blush shades to create natural-looking dimension for the face with a lightweight luminous finish.

Natural Looking Foundation - Highlight & Contour Routine (UPDATED)

A deeper shade enhances definition while a lighter shade illuminates the high points of the face. Closer look at the powders. No shimmers at all, so double thumbs up for me! The other 2 shades are much darker suited for darker skin tones. Also love the fact it has both highlight and contour shade in one compact!

Good for travel. A luxurious domed face powder with minerals, slowly baked to provide a dimensional yet natural-matte finish. Provides perfect light coverage. Use to set and fix foundation or as a touch-up throughout the day.

New mirrored compact. This powder has a thousand shades and she picked Medium Dark for me. It is really a natural light powder that can be a foundation, setting powder, etc and I never would have thot it could be used for shading. Thanks to the helpful MAC salesgirl! The contour shades are quite different.

A rosy pinkish shade that can be a blush on its own. Just nose shading only. Nose shading comparison only. Can you see the shade difference? I think you can pick the colour that best matches your eyebrow colour or overall makeup look. Both offer great contouring and definition! Still learning the technique.

I also love that it has a matte white highlight shade! I nominated you for the Liebster Blog award! Your blog is amazing! Like Liked by 1 person. Oh wow!!!! It's absolutely perfect for me and it's build able if needed. It's also very easy to blend out a harsh line, or to just give a light sun kissed look. It's also matte so it has no shimmery pigments which is great, I am not a fan of the shimmer contour so this powder is the ideal contour for me.

Nilo Haq’s Tried & Tested Face Masks!

This is one product I have used down to the pan on multiple occasions and always find myself reaching for. I tend to purchase this product in the 'Medium Dark' shade despite being quite fair darker in the summer months and opt to use it more as bronzing finish powder rather than to add more coverage. The packaging, like all MAC products, is durable, sleek and sexy. Not only is the clip top very functional but it also features a mirror on the inside which is great for travel makeup and on the go touch ups.

It has a smooth feel about it but I wouldn't say it is exactly silky which is what I tend to like in a powder, that is quite literally the only downside of this product. The smell is 'typical makeup' smell if there ever was one. I have this in the shade 'Give me sun' and it's such a nice bronzer.

Highlighting + Contouring | MAC Cosmetics - Official Site

You have to build it up to get a lot of the product on your skin but I think that's what's good about it because it makes it easier for me to not over do it with the bronzer. I only use this when I'm tanned because it's too dark for me when I'm pale and can look a bit orangey but when I'm tanned it's perfect so I would not recommend this for you if you have pale skin. This is a great powder, my sister had it and I tried it and loved it so I bought it.

The packaging would be better if it had a mirror in the lid, but i don't mind that too much.

This is a very natural powder that can be used for setting or for very light coverage. I like to use it over concealer as it sets it for all day and evens out my skin tone. Blends nicely and gives a nice slightly glowy finish over foundation. It blurs out any imperfections and makes the skin seem flawless. It lasts all day on me but my skin isn't that oily.

Mac mineralise skin finish Natural in Give Me Sun

I would highly recommend! The packaging for the Mineralize skin finish is the only negative I really have. The circle shapy and the standard compact size are fine, but it has no mirror in the lid unlike the studio fix powder. The lack of mirror makes touch ups on the go a little bit trickier.

Also my powder came unstuck from the base, which while it didn't break i do have to be careful when opening that it doesn't fall out. For me they have been the only drawbacks. The products itself if beautiful, the texture is so soft and smooth. It is great for using just as a setting powder, which when used that way does control the oil i get with my combo skin type for most of the day. I have also used it as a foundation with both a dry buffing brush and a slighly damp one.

When used on a dry brush i found it to offer quite good coverage up to a medium, that looked flawless. It did not oxidise on my skin at all. It lasted most of the day, only needing a touch up in the afternoon. When I used the product on a damp brush it offered nearly full coverage, it didn't look cakey and again it lasted well throughout the day. The powder made my skin look beautiful no matter which way i used it, it didn't highlight any fine lines or pores. I would definately reccommend to anyone thinking about purchasing the Mineralize Skin Finish Natural to do it.

I love this product. I picked it up in Hawaii for the first time years ago when it hadn't yet come to Australia and I have repurchased so many times since then. All MAC products are exceptional but this has a gorgeous texture and finish and the variety of colours is amazing. Several shades to match skin colour - I usually struggle finding the right colour but not with this range. Perfect setting powder.

Doesn't cake if you have dry spots. I have this in the shade Light and I use it primarily to set my concealer underneath my eyes and I don't experience any creasing whatsoever throughout the entire day. Because it is so finely milled, it feels light and comfortable on the skin. I never need to touch up my concealer throughout the entire day. As a foundation setting powder, I find that reapplication is needed every hours on my combination skin. It does kick up a bit of dust when I swirl my brush in it though but I am not personally bothered by it.
